How paying for content, subscriptions and plans works on Lipaidox.
Prices are set in US dollars (USD). Where we show a Tanzanian shilling (TZS) amount, it is an estimate for your reference; the amount your bank or mobile money provider charges may differ slightly because of their exchange rate.
Purchases are paid from your Lipaidox wallet. You can add money to your wallet by card, through a secure payment page, or by M-Pesa, through a prompt on your phone.
When you choose Card or M-Pesa at checkout, the amount needed is added to your wallet first and then used for the purchase. Lipaidox never sees or stores your full card number.
Creators use live credits to stream Premium Live: 100 credits cost $10 and give 15 minutes of streaming. Credits are deducted for the time streamed and are non-refundable once used.
Creators choose a plan to monetize. The platform fee is taken from what a creator earns: 30% on Basic, 25% on Go Plus and 20% on Premium. The Free plan cannot sell content. Plans are billed monthly, or yearly at a discount.
You are only charged when the payment provider confirms the payment. If a payment fails, nothing is charged and no access is granted. If you were charged but did not receive access, contact us with the payment reference and we will resolve it.
All transactions are final once access has been granted, unless a specific refund policy applies or the law requires otherwise. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in account termination.
Creators are paid to the bank account or mobile money number set in Payout method. Verified tax information may be required before payouts are released.
